The Path Of A Strong Heart

The Path Of A Strong Heart

In American society it is common for people not to pay attention to the health of their heart. People normally wait until the doctor tells them they have some sort of issue that could really harm them and that tends to be when they get serious about their health. I always get comments from older people on how they wish they would have taken better care of themselves. When it comes to changing ones lifestyle for a healthy heart, it will be different as far as the process goes for certain people with different body types. The path that leads to a strong heart is through exercising, healthy eating, nutrients, relaxing and treating your body right.

Exercising is always important and good for you because it keeps weight down and your heart rate up, therefore protecting you from heart disease. It improves blood circulation, manages high blood pressure, and reduces strokes. When starting on a journey to regular exercising, make sure you start small and work your way up so you don’t end up exercising to a point you overwork your heart. Someone who is overweight may need to start small so the heart isn’t shocked. You can start off exercising at home with chores, playing with pets and/or children, or doing a slow jog. It is important to know that to really increase heart health you must do an aerobic exercise such as jogging or jump-roping where your heart reaches its certain beats per minute, at this point it may be difficult to speak while your exercising. While doing aerobic exercises also make sure to take breaks in-between so it doesn’t cause a heart issue that may put you in danger for cardiac arrest.

Eating healthy is also involved in the heart and can cause a lot of problems if you don’t pay attention to what you put in your body. Of course there is the healthy consumption of fruits, vegetables, fish, nuts, bread, dairy and sugar. A good goal is to try eating approximately 2, 000 calories daily. If one chooses to have bad eating habits they will increase there chances for high cholesterol, which ends up in the blood stream and makes the heart work harder then it could move the major arteries causing a cardiac arrest. Something that is also important in promoting a strong heart and overall health is taking tonics and supplements. A lot of popular supplements are; Krill Oil, CoQ-10 and Omega 3 Fish Oil, which cleanse the heart of toxins. Certain supplements deal with just specific things for the body, however supplements like Krill Oil can help in overall health. Krill Oil provides things such as energy, increased strength in memory, relieving joint pain, lowering cholesterol and protection for the heart.

Along with exercising and eating right there is also relaxation and getting away from stress. During times of stress the body lets out sugar in the blood stream and the blood pressure goes up to provide energy. Constant stress can cause obesity and high blood pressure so it is very important to deal with stress properly to keep the body out of a stressful and unhealthy situation.
