Does krill oil cause insomnia?

Some individuals may experience sleep-related side effects from krill oil, such as sleepiness or insomnia, as your body is adjusting to the influx of omega-3’s. It’s not a common occurrence, however if you do experience insomnia, begin with a lower dosage (1 capsule per day) and take it earlier in the day (preferably at breakfast). After a few weeks, you may increase to 2 capsules per day. Before taking this or any other supplement, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider.
